Part 2. Configure a Bot
Please, be aware:
- Nothing is live until you actually place the code on your digital channel.
- Feel free to play with configurations until you’re satisfied with the result.
- Don’t forget to press 'Save' often to save your progress
- For every change you make you can 'Preview' the result.
Getting started.
Make sure that your Bot is 'Active'. It should say so on the top of the configuration menu. If it says 'Inactive' follow this guide to activate you Bot. How to activate a Bot?
From now on, you will be working with the 'Sections' Icon. It opens a Drop down menu where you can configure your newly created Bot.
Preview.
Step 1. Location & Calcubot Type.
You can update the URL of the Page that hosts the Bot. If you decide to put the Bot on a different page, or the URL of the page changes.

Step 2. Interest rates.
You can configure your rates Manually or set up an Automatic rates updater.

Step 3. Online Loan Application. A link to the application will provide a smooth transition from looking to booking.

Step 4. Notifications
Lead notifications will alert your staff that a new prospect has just submitted his or her contact information after completing an estimation.

Step 5. Disclaimers
You can customize the verbiage of every disclaimer message that is shown to end-users.
Step 6. Branding and Personalization.
Brand a Bot with your logo! This helps build trust and brand awareness.
Step 7. Release. Whenever ready, you can click ‘Release’ to access the installation code.
Step 8. Testing. Make sure to test your Bots to ensure your members and customers have a smooth experience with your Shastic Estimator Bots.
